The meaning behind our name

Raaha (راحة)

ease·rest·comfort·path·relief

Raaha (راحة) is an Arabic word meaning ease, rest, comfort, path or relief. At Raaha Wellbeing, this concept forms the heart of our work. We aim to provide a space of calm, support, and restoration for those navigating emotional and psychological challenges.

Our approach is developmentally informed, strengths-based, and tailored to the unique needs of each individual and family we work with. At Raaha Wellbeing, our goal is to create a space where people feel welcomed, respected, and supported as they are.

How the Mental Health Care Plan works

Your GP can prepare a Mental Health Care Plan, which lets you claim a Medicare rebate of $101.55 on up to 10 individual sessions each calendar year.

You don't need a referral to book privately. A care plan is only needed if you'd like to claim the rebate. We're always happy to talk through your options before you commit to anything.

Fees are current as of 2026 and may be reviewed periodically. Rebates require a valid Mental Health Care Plan and cannot be claimed alongside private health insurance for the same session.
